EXPLANATION Normally we place adjectival information next to the noun or pronoun that it qualifies... but what happens when we have a string of adjectives? In English there is a sequence that works best. If you examine the following, you will see that the sequence is generally the same, starting with a determiner such as a, an or the. The last adjective before the noun is always the adjective that describes the function of the object.
